I know it took a lot longer then it should have for such a small update but here it is. I added enemy characters and and you and them can both be pushed around and they disappear if you shoot them. The Wii version and now the PC version also both visually scale up the game nearest neighbor style the same way that Revolt of the Binary Couriers did well the GP2X version still uses the original 320×240 untouched image since that is what the systems screen resolution is anyways. Aside from that its the same. Controls for PC and GP2X are the same as before and for Wii you hold the controller sideways (NES style) and use the d-pad to move side to side, the 2 button to jump, the one button to shoot and the plus and minus buttons to speed up and slow down time. I’m not sure when I’m going to work on this again. It is something that I really want to make but I think I’m going to focus on They Do Not Die for now. I know I’m a horrible person and I never end up working on the shit that I say I’m going to do and I should finish this game and blah blah blah but hey that also means that I might end up switching back to working on this sooner then I plan to which is kinda a good thing right? |

It has been a long time since the last release.. (Xmas 2008). But now its time to show the world what has been done since the last time. So thats why the new release 0.1 Alpha is there. What has been fixed.. - Game logos are shown in the main form and can also be exported. - The dll`s don`t need to be copied annymore to the game folders. ( this because of Xbe Loading ). - No more creating exe files, we run the xbe files instead of converting the xbe to exe. - We use our own dll files, not working with the cxbx dll`s - XBEExplorer(info), a new tool for looking into xbe files like a PE Header viewer, then for xbe files. - XDKTracker game list has been updated.. This are some features i can think of.. so now you can take a look also with this new setup. REMEMBER .. THIS IS STILL ALPHA -- NO PLAYABLE STUFF -- We are still hard working on it.. and prehaps we can make a full 0.1 version.. But for now its still ALPHA !! |

As I’m sure everybody heard, the memory access exploit for the PS3 hypervisor was released recently by geohotz. I was finally able to replicate his hack so I thought I’d take the time to help out others who may also have trouble due to being linux n00bs like me Please note that the geohotz exploit software was hardcoded for the v2.42 firmware, I have made a small fix that attempts to dynamically support all firmware versions. I have only tested and used it on v3.15 however. |

I’m working on a FPGA (Spartan 3) code project in vhdl titled “ps3 glitch finder” where you can set low/high delay via buttons and have the nano second delay show in a led display. Created a DCM (Digital Clock Manager, available in Spartan 3) primitive to get 200MHz (still using a 25MHz external crystal) so the lowest pulse possible is 5ns (instead of 40ns). This way I hope the “optimal glitch” can be found, and the design can be used for other glitch project as well. Probably overkill for such a simple task, but it has been fun so far. |
